Our clients build really cool technology, gadgets, and toys.

You already know this but...

It's not every day that they get recognized on this scale.

So we thought we would share the good news.

TIME usually highlights the 100 most impactful new products and ideas each year.

This year, 2022, they decided to select a list of the best 200 inventions across several categories.

TIME reviews nominations and submissions for several key factors, including originality, efficacy, ambition, and impact. Here's how they chose the inventions to include on their list for 2022.

Our Clients

We think we have many clients who would be great contenders for this list. Our clients span various fields, many of which are making positive impact on people's lives every day.

We have clients who help people sleep better.

We have clients who are cleaning up the environment.

We have clients who are helping people exercise.

We have clients who develop products that make children and adults smile.

We have clients who improve pet care.

We have clients who improve the health and hygiene of women and girls.

We have clients who protect your consumer electronics against damage.

We have clients who are making medical procedures safer for patients.

We have all sorts of clients who are innovators and are developing innovative products. Some of our clients do this on a very large scale--you might be surprised that there's a good chance you've had one of our client's technology in your pocket. Other clients are just getting started and looking for their product-market fit.

So who made the list this year?

Oscilla Power is creating technology to capture energy from the ocean.

“Conventional devices can only tap the up and down motion, called the heave,” CEO Balky Nair says. Triton “also taps energy from the pitch, roll, yaw, sway, and surge of a wave.”

Oscilla Power is a highly innovative client pushing the edge of technology all the time.

They're so innovative that they often collaborate with the US Federal Government through many of their grant programs to fund high-impact, early-stage technology concepts.

Balky Nair, Oscilla's CEO, has been developing groundbreaking technology and working with our team at Intellectual Strategies for well over a decade (probably close to 15 years now).

As a critical part of their legal team, we've had the opportunity to be involved with their patents, trademarks, university partnerships, and much more.

You can read more about Oscilla's innovative Wave Energy Converter (WEC) called TRITON on their website.

TernX is at the other end of the spectrum. Instead of creating large-scale technology that sits in the ocean, they're making it easier for parents to travel with a child across (or over) the ocean.

The TernX Carry On is a foldable stroller and carry-on suitcase in one. Not only is it extremely functional, it's really good-looking, too!

We've enjoyed working with Hoe Ping Lo and Tack Lee on this project and are excited to see their pre-sale orders take off.

The TernX team was first introduced to us by Steven Selikoff through his Product Development Academy. If you're developing a product destined for retail eventually, please connect with Steven and join other entrepreneurs like Hoe Ping and Tack who are finding success along their product development journey. You can also see our chat with Steven about how various legal milestones align with the product development roadmap.
